Congratulations on establishment of Collective Action Committee (Burma) and I would like to take this opportunity to express our organisation's stand on current situation of Burma. We believe that military regime must honour 1990 elections results accordingly if they truly wanted to see national reconcialation in Burma. "If this country is to achieve genuine democracy, the result of the elections of 1990 must be recognized", Daw Aung San Suu Kyi clearly stated already. To reject 2010 elections game plan, "we must say we don't need another elections in Burma and recognise 1990 elections results first". This is the very strong argument.
The scariest thing military government to do is "implementing 1990 elections results". I would like to suggest here that let's synchronize movement inside and outside Burma. Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) is lobbying and campaigning international governments. I beleive that together we can restore democracy, human rights and justice in Burma.

Happy new year. I read your blog and also like ur letters and statement. Especially ထြက္ေပါက္ကိုသာ စဥ္းစားမေနပဲ ေဖါက္ထြက္ဖို႔ ႀကိဳးစားၾက ၊ အတုအေယာင္ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲကို တခဲနက္ဆန္႔က်င္တိုက္ပြဲ၀င္ၾက ၊ How to do and how to fight. Today is indpendent day for Burma. But not for people. We need real democracy and dont need SPDC. I want to enter from online. I am ready for burmese people. I think to free Daw Aung San Su Kyi is very important and to control NLD with her leadership. Plz also give me advice how can I do.
